Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Service the generator as a complete unit.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.
  3. Remove the generator electrical connections.

  4. Remove the generator mounting nuts and bolts.
  5. Remove the generator.
