Installation Procedure

  1. Install the disc brake backing plate to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Rear Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly

  2. Install the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear in Rear Suspension.
  3. Install the rear rotor. Refer to Brake Rotor Replacement - Rear .
  4. Install the rear caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear .
  5. Adjust the park brake assembly. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment in Park Brake.
  6. Install the rear wheels and tires. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle from the hoist.
