Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the insulators to the stabilizer bar.
  2. Install the stabilizer bar clamps to the stabilizer bar.

  4. Position the stabilizer bar to the rear support assembly.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the stabilizer bar clamp to support assembly bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  8. Install both stabilizer link to trailing bar bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  10. Install the fuel tank heat shield to the rear suspension support. Refer to Fuel Tank Heat Shield Replacement in Engine Exhaust.

  12. Install the exhaust muffler hangers.
  13. Install the tire and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  14. Lower the vehicle.
