Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Open the door.

  3. Remove the lower windshield frame applique retainers using the J 36796  .
  4. Lower the retractable roof.

    IMPORTANT: When removing the upper windshield frame applique retainer, use caution to prevent the retainer from entering the water run channel in the header seal.
  5. Remove the upper windshield frame applique retainer.

  6. Pull outward to release the windshield frame applique from the Dual Loc patches.
