Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Position the automatic temperature control assembly on the center molding and install the retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the control assembly retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in)  .

  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the center molding assembly. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Four Door) or Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Five Door/Wagon) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
