Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the catalytic converter and the gasket to the exhaust front pipe flange.
Tighten
- Tighten the exhaust front pipe-to-catalytic converter nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft) .
- Tighten the exhaust front pipe-to-cylinder block bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) .

Install the catalytic converter to exhaust manifold nuts and the gasket.
Tighten: Tighten the catalytic converter to exhaust manifold nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft) .

Install the exhaust manifold cover bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the exhaust manifold cover bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft) .
Connect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
Connect the negative battery cable.
