Frozen Lock Cylinder Repair

Use the following procedure in order to repair frozen lock cylinders that are frozen due to cold weather:
- Using a heat gun, apply heat to the cylinder area.
- Hold the shutter open with a paper clip or a similar item and force air into the cylinder using compressed air and a blow gun attachment.
- Hold the shutter open and inject a small amount of Super-Lube® GM P/N 12346241 (Canadian P/N 1093474) or equivalent.
- Work the key into the cylinder several times.
- Wipe the excess lubricant from the key.
