Wiper Arm Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the wiper arm blades. Refer to Wiper Arm Blade Replacement .
1	Windshield Washer Arm Finish Cap Tip: Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the finish cap.
2	Windshield Washer Arm Nut NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: Hold the wiper arm blade tip to the target points in the lower blackout area of the windshield while tightening the nut. Tighten: 32 N.m (24 lb ft).
3	Windshield Washer Arm Assembly Tip: Use a J 39637 or slightly rock the arm on the wiper pivot shaft to remove.
4	Windshield Wiper Arm Hose Tip: Note the correct hose routing around the wiper arm, see insert.
