Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the O-ring with clean engine oil. Replace the O-rings if damaged.

  3. Install the CKP sensor (1) to the block.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the CKP sensor nut (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  6. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
