Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear run channel (1) to the door.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolt (2) in order to retain the rear run channel (1) to the door.

    Tighten:  Tighten the retaining bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  4. Install the front door window to the door from the outside of the vehicle.

  6. Install the nuts (3) in order to retain the front door window to the sash.

    Tighten:  Tighten the retaining nuts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  7. IMPORTANT: Before raising or lowering the front door window ensure that the front door window is properly aligned in the rear run channel.
  8. Lower the front door window.
  9. Install the front run channel (1) to the door.
  10. Install the bolt (2) in order to retain the front run channel (1) to the door.

    Tighten:  Tighten the retaining bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  11. Install the inner window sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Upper .
  12. Install the outer window sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Outer Belt .
  13. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  14. Install the front door rear garnish. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Rear .
  15. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
