Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement - Upper in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 4.3L, to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory , or to Drive Belt Replacement - Air Conditioning in Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  3. Remove the power steering pump pulley using the J 25034-C  . See Special Tools .
