Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fender to the body.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Hood To Hinge Bolts

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fender to the body bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  3. Install the front wheel house extension. Refer to Wheelhouse Extension Replacement  .
  4. Install the front rocker cladding. Refer to Cladding Replacement - Left Rocker Panel , or to Cladding Replacement - Right Rocker Panel in Exterior Trim.

  5. Install the hood to the fender nut and bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut and bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  6. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement  .
  7. Install the screws retaining the windshield frame filler panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the impact bar. Refer to Impact Bar Replacement - Front Bumper .
  9. Close the hood.
