Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor harness connector.

  4. Remove the mounting bolts from the TP sensor.

    NOTE: The TP sensor is an electrical component. Do not soak the TP sensor in any liquid cleaner or solvent, as damage may result.
  6. Remove the TP sensor and gasket from the throttle body assembly.
