Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Locating Transmission Mount Bolts

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the transmission mount to the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts (1).
Tighten:
- For RWD vehicles, tighten the bolts to 61 N.m (45 lb ft).
- For AWD vehicles, tighten the bolts to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).

Lower the transmission.
Install the transmission mount to the transmission support retaining nut or nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the nut or nuts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
Remove the transmission jack.
Lower the vehicle.
