Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fan blade to the fan clutch.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the four bolts retaining the fan blade to the fan clutch.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Install the fan clutch assembly using theJ 46406  in a counter clockwise direction. See Special Tools .

    Tighten:  Tighten the fan clutch assembly to 56 N.m (41 lb ft).

  4. Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement - Upper .
