Installation Procedure

  1. Install the bearings to the window.
  2. Install the bushings to the window.
  3. Install the nuts to the window.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the screws to the bearing.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to the bearing to 2 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the latches to the window.

  6. Use J 34946  in order to install the pins. See Special Tools .
  7. Install the window to the opening with the aid of an assistant.
  8. Install the hinge nuts to the stationary window.
  9. Install the bushings to the stationary window.
  10. Install the retainers to the stationary window.

  11. Install the hinge screws to the stationary window.

    Tighten:  Tighten the stationary window hinge screws to 1.6 N.m (1.4 lb in).

  12. Install the stationary window latch screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the stationary window latch screws to 3.5 N.m (1.6 lb in).
