Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Disconnecting/Connecting Ignition Coil Electrical Connectors

  3. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (1) from the ignition coils.
  4. Remove the retaining bolts (2) from the ignition coils.

  6. Remove the ignition coils (1) from the engine.
