Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wiper motor into the vehicle.
  2. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector.
    3. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the wiper motor fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the wiper motor fasteners to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

  4. Install the wiper transmission. Refer to Wiper Transmission Replacement .
  5. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
  7. Close the hood.
