Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Once the Brake Pedal Position Sensor bolt is removed for any reason, a new 4 mm bolt, with fresh LOCTITE™ will need to be installed.
  1. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1).

  2. Remove the brake pedal position sensor (2) from the mounting bracket.

  3. Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the brake pedal position sensor (2) from the vehicle
