Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install electrical connections to PCM.

    Tighten:  Tighten bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the PCM to the bracket.
  3. Position PCM water boot back into place.
  4. Close the hood.
  5. Connect negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
  6. If the PCM was replaced, the replacement PCM must be programmed. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Programming.
