Conditions for Setting the DTC

• DTCs P0106, P0107, P0108, P0112, P0113, P0115, P0117, P0118, P0122, P0123, P0131, P0132, P0133, P0134, P0135, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0300, P0336, P0337, P0341, P0342, P0351, P0352, P0402, P0404, P0405, P0406, P0443, P0506, P0507, P1167, P1171, and P1404 are not set.
• The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is between 70-115°C (158-239°F).
• The barometric pressure is more than 72 kPa.
• The calculated air flow is between 1.5-45 g/s.
• The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is between 25-99.7 kPa.
• The intake air temperature (IAT) is between -40 and +120°C (-40 and +248°F.
• The engine speed is between 700-6,000 RPM.
• The throttle position (TP) sensor angle is less than 95 percent.
• The vehicle speed is less than 140 km/h (87 mph).
• The fuel system is operating in Closed Loop.
• The ignition 1 voltage is more than 11 volts.
• DTC P0171 runs continuously once the above conditions are met.

The average long term fuel trim cell values are more than 35 percent for 10 seconds.
