Installation Procedure

  1. Install the antenna cable at the radio.
  2. Install the radio wire harness connector.
    3. IMPORTANT: Verify that the locator pin on the back of the radio is firmly seated in the I/P structure extension.
  3. Install the radio.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  4. Install the radio screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
  6. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
