Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Install the insulators so that the slit in the insulator is facing the rear of the vehicle.

  1. Install the insulators on the stabilizer shaft.

  3. Position the stabilizer shaft to the frame.
  4. Install the stabilizer bar clamps.
  5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  7. Raise the rear of the cradle and install the cradle bolts. Refer to Frame Replacement (2.4L) , Frame Replacement (3.6L) .
  8. Remove the jack stand.
  9. Connect the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  10. For vehicles equipped with the 3.6L LY7, install the exhaust pipe. Refer to Exhaust Pipe Replacement (LE5 or LE9 With MH8) , Exhaust Pipe Replacement (LY7) .
  11. Install the front tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  12. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
