Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the EVAP vent hose (6), the vapor pipe (7) and the purge pipe (8) from the canister (1).
    3. IMPORTANT: Replace the retaining strap when replacing the EVAP canister.
  3. Release the canister from the retaining strap.
  4. Remove the canister from the fuel tank.
