Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the front hub unit from the steering knuckle assembly, because the wheel speed sensor is not serviceable separately. Refer to Steering Knuckle Replacement in Front Suspension.
