Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery connector.
  2. Remove the instrument panel under cover.
  3. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Interior Trim.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the nuts securing the intelligent switching unit (ISU).
  6. Remove the ISU.
