Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower striker (1) to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Lower Striker & Bolts

    NOTE: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts (2) that retain the lower striker (1) to the stepwell.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell in Interior Trim.
