Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power steering pump remote reservoir (3) to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the power steering pump remote reservoir (4) mounting nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 7 N.m (58 lb in).

  3. Install the reservoir inlet hose (3) to the reservoir.

  4. Connect the reservoir outlet hose to the reservoir.
  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
