Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the bolts that retain the check assembly cover.
    3. Fig 1: Check Assembly Cover Bolts

  3. Remove the check assembly cover from the stepwell.
  4. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the check assembly (1) to the sliding side door lower track (3).

  5. Remove the check assembly (1) from the sliding side door lower track (3).
