Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transfer case shield.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transfer case shield mounting nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the transfer case shield mounting nuts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
