Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1 .
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Disconnect the inflatable restraint front end discriminating sensor harness connector located at the top of the frame (1).

  4. Remove the bolts (2).
  5. Remove the inflatable restraint front end discriminating sensor (3) from the cradle.
