Transfer Case - Servicing: Lubrication: Notes

CAUTION: Transmission oil circulates between the transmission and the transfer case. In situations where transmission failures circulate debris into the transfer case, the transfer case must be disassembled, cleaned, and inspected for damage. See appropriate OVERHAUL article.
