Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am and 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the receiver through the access hole. Snap the mounting tabs into place.
  3. Install the rear compartment lamp housing. Refer to REAR COMPARTMENT LAMP REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
  4. Reprogram the new receiver to transmitters. Refer to TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING  .
