Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am and 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the door handle pull bracket to the door.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the door handle pull bracket screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (OLDSMOBILE)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (PONTIAC)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (OLDSMOBILE)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (PONTIAC)  .
