Check engine mechanical condition with compression gauge, vacuum gauge, or engine analyzer. See engine analyzer manual for specific instructions. For compression specifications, see ENGINE COMPRESSION SPECIFICATIONS table. Install and tighten spark plugs to 18 ft. lbs. (25 N.m).
