Fuel Pump: Installation

  1. Install a new fuel sender assembly gasket. Install the fuel sender assembly into the fuel tank. Secure the fuel sender assembly with the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the return fuel line to the fuel sender assembly. Connect the fuel supply line to the fuel sender assembly. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel sender assembly. Install the fuel tank. See FUEL TANK . Inspect for any fuel leaks.
