Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
  2. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt and remove the sets belt from the seat guide loop. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Seat Belts.
  3. Raise the seat to maximum height.
  4. Remove the seat mounting fastener covers.

  5. Remove the 3 front seat mounting nuts.
  6. Remove the front seat mounting bolt.
  7. Disconnect the electrical harness. Unclip the harness from the seat bracket.
  8. Disconnect the yellow SIR electrical connector.
  9. Disconnect the seat belt buckle electrical connector.
  10. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
  11. Place the seat on a clean, prepared surface.
