Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat back panel to the seat back frame by pressing clips firmly into place.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the top screw securing the seat back panel to the seat back headrest.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat back panel screw to 6.25 N.m (55 lb in).

  3. Install the 2 screws securing the seat back panel to the seat back assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat back panel screws to 6.25 N.m (55 lb in).

  4. Install the seat back cover retaining tabs (2) along each side of the seat back panel (1).
  5. Install the seat back cover retaining tabs (3) along the bottom of the seat back panel (1).
  6. Install the seat belt guide. Refer to Seat Belt Guide Replacement - Front .
  7. Install the chrome head restraint trim to the headrest. Refer to Chrome Head Restraint Trim Replacement .
  8. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
