Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connection to the module.
    3. Fig 1: Identifying Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Disable Switch Mounting Tabs

  3. Release the module mounting tabs (1) through the windshield garnish molding.
  4. Remove the module from the vehicle.
