Removal (Main HVAC Control Module)
- Open and remove ashtray or cupholder then remove the following sets of screws:
- Two screws from the front of the trim panel. For access to the front screws, remove the ashtray or the cupholder.
- Two screws from the bottom of the trim panel. For access to the bottom screws, remove the console storage box.

- Use a small, flat-bladed tool in order to remove upper tabs on the I/P accessory trim plate from the instrument panel. Disconnect electrical connectors, if equipped. Remove I/P accessory trim plate from the instrument panel.
- Remove HVAC control module retaining screws and pull HVAC control module straight out from the instrument panel. See Figure
.
- Disconnect HVAC control module electrical connectors and remove HVAC control module.
