Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the transmission on the vehicle with six screws.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 8 N.m (70 lb in).

Install the transmission drive link socket to the wiper motor crank arm ball using the J 39529 . Ensure that the socket is fully seated on the ball.
Install the air inlet screen. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
Install the wiper arm and blade assemblies. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement (LHD) or Wiper Arm Replacement (RHD) .
