Installation Procedure

  1. Move the wiper arms 153-204 mm (6-8 in) up the windshield from the park position.
  2. Connect the transmission drive link to the wiper motor crank arm using the J 39529  .

  3. Position the wiper motor to the plenum panel.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the wiper motor bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
  6. Inspect the wiper washer system operation.
