Installation Procedure

  1. Route the taillamp connector (3) and the grommet (2) through the body.

  2. Verify that the grommet (2) is fully seated in the body.
  3. Install the taillamp (1) to the body.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the fasteners (5) in order to secure the taillamp (1) to the body.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  5. Connect the taillamp connector (3).
  6. Install the rear compartment side trim. Refer to COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM REPLACEMENT - LH REAR or COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM REPLACEMENT - RH REAR .
  7. Close the rear compartment lid.
