Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the hood latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the ambient outside air temperature sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the lower bolts (1) retaining the hood latch support (2) to the vehicle.

  5. Remove the upper bolts (1) retaining the hood latch support (2) to the vehicle.

  6. Remove the hood latch support (2) from the vehicle.
