Removal Procedure

NOTE: Tools Required 
  • J 24319-B Universal Steering Linkage Puller
  1. Remove the rear support. Refer to SUPPORT REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link. Refer to STABILIZER SHAFT LINK REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the adjustment link retaining nut from the lower control arm. See Fig 1.
  4. Using J 24319-B separate the adjustment link from the lower control arm. See Fig 2. Remove the wheel bearing and hub from the lower control arm. Refer to WHEEL BEARING/HUB REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  5. Remove the lower control arm mounting bolts and nuts. See Fig 3.
  6. Remove the lower control arm.
