Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Eldorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Partially install the tail lamp assembly.
  2. Connect the bulb sockets.
  3. Engage the clip for the electrical harness.
  4. Ensure the foam gaskets are in place over the studs.

  5. Position the lamp (2) to the rear end body panel.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Install the wing nuts (1) in order to secure the tail lamp (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the wing nuts to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  7. Install the rear compartment trim.
