Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the following components from the instrument panel:
    1. The 3 screws (2)
    2. The IP steering column opening trim plate (1)

  3. Release the upper and lower retaining tabs behind the instrument panel which secure the outside remote control rearview mirror switch (5).
  4. Slide the rearview mirror switch (5) from the instrument panel in order to disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the rearview mirror switch electrical connector.
  6. Remove the rearview mirror switch (5) from the vehicle.
