Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Tracker. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the cruise control servo assembly (6) to the vehicle. Secure the assembly with the 3 bolts (2).
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the cruise control servo assembly mounting bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb ft).
  2. Connect the cruise control servo assembly electrical connector.

  3. Install the cruise control servo cable (3) to the cruise control actuator lever (1).
  4. Adjust the cruise control servo cable locknuts (5) in order to adjust the cruise control servo cable play.
  5. Adjust the cruise control servo cable play to 1-2 mm (0.04-0.08 in) at the servo closed throttle position.

    Tighten 

    1. Tighten the cruise control cable locknut (5) to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  6. Install the cruise control module cover (1).
