Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the following components from the front pipe/three-way catalytic converter (TWC) (3) assembly:
    • The 2 bolts
    • The gasket
  3. Remove 2 bolts and the hanger from the muffler.
  4. Remove the muffler/tail pipe assembly from the vehicle.
  5. Clean the seal mating surfaces.
