Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat bottom and seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR (FULL WIDTH) or SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT -- REAR (AN2) .

    Important:  The wheel speed sensor is serviceable only as an assembly. Do NOT attempt to service the sensor harness pigtail.

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the wheel speed sensor.

  3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  4. Pull the pigtail harness (1) for the wheel speed sensor out through the body. Remove the grommet (2).

  5. Remove the bolt which retains the wheel speed sensor pigtail harness (1) to the vehicle.

  6. Remove the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt (2) and remove the wheel speed sensor (1) from suspension knuckle.
